CAIRO – 17 October 2017: UK Consul General in Alexandria Wendy Freeman on Tuesday hosted the inking ceremony of a partnership protocol between Alexandria University and UK education giant Pearson on management, quality accreditation and preparing cadres for the international labor market.

The inking ceremony was followed by the launch of the international program on learning and improving the efficiency of students at the Faculty of Medicine of Alexandria University.

The program aims to prepare 300 Egyptian doctors in various sectors as an experimental phase, Freeman said.

The UK is proud of being Egypt's main partner in the field of foreign investments and is working hard to boost its partnership with Cairo and support its economy in a way that meets the Egyptian people's aspirations, she noted.

The ceremony was attended by President of Alexandria University Essam el Kordy and director of Pearson Egypt Ahmed Ismail.
