Egypt is rich because of its youth: Telecom Minister

CAIRO – 15 October 2017: Minister of Telecommunications Yasser El Kady said during the graduation ceremony of the students in the Telecommunications Technology Initiative that the students undertook training courses and received certificates from reputable technology companies and academic institutions worldwide.

“We aim to establish excellence centers in technology parks to attract investments. Egypt is rich because of its human resources. Investing in our youth is one of the state’s strategic goals,” the minister said.

El Kady stated that Eddie Kirby ranked Egypt first in the MENA region and the 14th globally as a destination for outsources. “We can witness today how telecommunications technology can change people’s lives,” the minister added.
