CAIRO – 10 October 2017: The Arab Federation for Human Rights (Arab FHR) and the Arab Organization for Human Rights in Britain and Europe condemned the dangerous threats issued of using toxic gas against Qatari tribes that oppose the Qatari regime.

The threatening statements were made by Mohammed Al-Mosfer, a professor at Qatar University, during an interview with the official Qatari Television on Monday.

The Arab FHR and the Arab Organization for Human Rights in Britain and Europe expressed their deep concerns over these statements. The statements portray the significance of the internal conflict inside the Qatari society and the severity of Qatari opposition figures’ situations.

“These statements reflect the Qatari official stance,” the Arab FHR and Arab Organization for Human Rights stressed in a statement issued on Monday.

In this regard, the Arab FHR and the Arab Organization called on the international community to interfere and take all necessary procedures to stop the Qatari regime’s violence against the opposition.
