Yemeni forces liberate village in Taiz, kill 18 Houthis

TAIZ, Yemen - 8 October 2017: Yemeni army forces said they liberated Al Arish village in Taiz province after clashes with Houthis and militias loyal to former Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh.

In statements to the Yemeni news agency, a military source said that 18 militiamen were killed in the clashes.

The source added that the Yemeni forces had cut off the militias supply line and imposed a siege on the militias in a number of areas and villages.
