BAGHDAD -7 October 2017: Iraqi army took control of 150 villages, killed 385 terrorists and arrested six others during an operation to liberate Daesh-controlled Hawija town, Hawija Operations Commander Lt. General Rashid Yarallah said on Saturday.

As many as 95 booby-trapped motorcycles and 442 bombs have been defused, Al Iraqiya channel quoted the commander as saying.

He added that 25 terrorist Daesh defense sites, 10 weapon caches, 15 terrorist hotbeds and 10 tunnels have been destroyed.
