Al Azhar holds workshop setting up peace and promoting citizenship

CAIRO – 3 October 2017: Al-Azhar University hosted on Tuesday workshop included representatives from Nigeria, Bangladesh, Cameroon, Somalia and Indonesia entitled “the role of dialogue in building peace and promoting”.

The workshop was organized by the Faculty of Languages and Translation by Dr. Muhammad Fawzi Abdul-Hai, the supervisor of Islamic studies in English department.
The workshop discussed the values of dialogue and citizenship and the need to set up peace nationally and internationally.

It included a number of training sessions on dialogue objectives including Citizenship, freedom, responsibility, equality and participation in order to promote citizenship and achieve public welfare.

This came as Al-Azhar role in providing the true concept and definition of citizen in Islam inside and outside Egypt.
