Egypt to receive last tranche of AfDB's loan next Jan

CAIRO - 3 October 2017: Egypt will receive the third tranche of the African Development Bank (AfDB)'s loan, estimated at $500 million, in January 2018, the bank's vice-president Khaled Sherif said.

The tranche will be the last one to be disbursed to Cairo as per the $1 billion loan deal signed between Egypt and the AfDB, Sherif told reporters Tuesday at the investment ministry's headquarters.
