Butane gas cylinder behind blast heard in Zamalek

CAIRO, 1 October 2017: A senior security source at the Interior Ministry said an explosion heard in Cairo’s Zamalek district earlier on Saturday was caused by a butane gas cylinder.

The blast caused material damage but left no casualties, the source told MENA.

All legal measures were taken, the source added.
