CAIRO – 30 September 2017: Commander of al-Hawaija operations Abdul Amir Rasheed Yarallah said on Saturday that the Iraqi army killed 121 terrorists and destroyed six unmanned jets, three mortars and two tunnels affiliated to the Islamic State (IS) in Al Huwaija district.

Iraqi air forces destroyed two buildings and killed ten militants affiliated to IS near Eddir village close to Al-Asal valley located in western Anbar province, military sources told Egypt Today on Saturday.

The General Intelligence and Security Directorate revealed Iraqi air forces destroyed weapons and ammunition storage facilities and defused dozens of explosive devices in the west of Anbar city.

Anbar Province is the largest governorate in Iraq by area. Encompassing much of the country's western territory, it shares borders with Syria, Jordan, and Saudi Arabia
