UNSC approves resolution on reforming peacekeeping operations

NEW YORK– 20 September 2017: The United Nations Security Council (UNSC) approved Wednesday unanimously on resolution 2378/2017 on reforming international peacekeeping operations during the Security Council summit on the reform of UN peacekeeping operations under Ethiopia.

Several countries submitted the draft resolution including Egypt, Algeria, Australia, Canada, China Ethiopia, France, Germany, Japan and Spain.
