NEW YORK – 20 September 2017: President Abdel Fatah Al-Sisi held meetings Tuesday with a number of presidents, prime ministers and senior officials who are participating in the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

On the sidelines of the session, he met with King Abdullah II of Jordan, US President Donald Trump and US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, presidential spokesman Alaa Youssef said.

Also, he held talks with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, the spokesman added.

The meetings covered files of common interests including bilateral relations, the situation in the Middle East and efforts exerted to combat terrorism, Youssef added.
