RAMALLAH, 18 September, 2017: A young Palestinian was wounded Sunday evening in clashes with Israeli occupation forces at the northern entrance of the Palestinian city of Bethlehem.

The Israeli troops opened fire on a 19-year-old Palestinian, wounding his leg, according to a Palestinian security source.

The wounded Palestinian was rushed to state-funded Beit Jala Hospital to receive the necessary medical treatment required, the source added.

Meanwhile, eyewitnesses said the young Palestinian was walking near a watch tower when soldiers guarding the tower opened fire on him. The 19-year-old's wounds were substantial, the witnesses added.
