CAIRO - 14 September 2017: Tourism Minister Yehia Rashed stressed the importance of working on guaranteeing tourist flow and creating stable economic atmosphere assuring that the political stability is a main base for development and progress.

These remarks were made during Rashed's participation in a seminar on tourism and sustainable development in the presence of Tourism Ministers of Morocco, Azerbaijan, Colombia, Azerbaijan, the Philippines, Uganda and Georgia and World Tourism Organisation Secretary General Taleb Rifai.

Rashed continued his meetings on the sidelines of the 22nd United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) General Assembly in China.

He met with Chinese Tourism Minister on the sidelines of the meetings as they discussed ways of boosting tourism relations between Egypt and China.

In an interview with a Chinese television channel "CCTV", Rashed pointed out to the importance of tourism cooperation between both countries and the Egyptian keenness on boosting the Chinese tourism flow and supporting the Chinese tourism.

He also noted that the Egyptian destination is unique as Egypt has a lot to present for the Chinese tourists, saying that work by visa will be activated in the next months which will influence the tourism flow.
