Fifth terrorist of Badrashin attack killed in police raid

CAIRO – 13 September 2017: The main terrorists responsible for the Badrashin police van attack on July 14 were killed during a security confrontation in Alexandria on Wednesday, announced the Ministry of Interior.

Security forces, during their efforts to follow the takfiri elements involved in the attack, managed to identify the hidden place of the fifth fugitive, who was killed while exchanging fire with the security forces at El Bitash Square in Alexandria.

On July 25, police raided the hideout of the other four terrorist takfiri elements involved, after being informed of their hidden place in 6th of October City and Faisal, Giza, killing them and seizing the weapons used in the attack, alongside materials used to make detonations.

Armed men on a motorcycle opened fire on a police van in Badrashin, Giza, on July 14, killing five policemen.
