CAIRO – 13 September 2017: The Arab Federation for Human Rights calls for pulling the 2022 World Cup from Qatar by providing two reports, one of them proves that Qatar has paid a bribe to host the World Cup, as mentioned in Saudi News Channel on Tuesday.

The Arab Federation has prepared a report about the risks that will pose if Qatar hosts the 2022 World Cup including the crucial evidences about the bribe Qatar offered to host the World Cup, said the Founder and Chairman of the Arab Federation for Human Rights Ahmed Al-Hamly.

The delegation of the federation will meet with the High Commissioner of Human Rights or his representative to clarify its situation towards Qatar, added Al-Hamly.

The other report reveals Qatari flimsy allegations regarding the existence of secret prisons in Yemen and Qatari violation of human rights and international laws.

This comes on the sidelines of the 36th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council held in Geneva from September 11 to September 29 in which the Arab Federation has participated.

The session includes the symposia about terrorism and human rights in the Middle East and the first conference supported by the federation to combat Qatar’s funding of terrorism.

The Human Rights Council holds no less than three regular sessions a year, for a total of at least ten weeks. They take place in March (four weeks), June (three weeks) and September (three weeks).
