CAIRO – 13 September 2017: The anti-terrorism conference participants in Poland called on European countries to sever ties with Doha over its alleged support of terrorism and to follow the Saudi Arabian-led coalition in dealing with Qatar, Sky News Arabic reported on Wednesday.

The conference, which was held on the sidelines of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) conference in the capital city of Poland, Warsaw, also recommended the freeze of assets and funds belonging to Qatari officials in European banks.

Participants in the conference fear these funds could be funneled into future terrorist attacks.

Moreover, the conference participants discussed the role of the emirate in supporting extremist ideologies and financially sponsoring terrorism in the Middle East, and highlighted the significance of standing firmly against such acts in more places around the globe.

They have also called on the European Criminal Court to track down crimes committed by Qatar against innocent people all over the world.

The conference serves as part of the international anti-terrorism movement officially launched on Wednesday.

Since June 5, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates have turned on Qatar with a complete air and trade boycott over allegations of its support and sponsorship of terrorism, which Doha denies.

Following the Arab boycott of Doha, a list of 13 demands was handed to Doha’s government by Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain for reconciliation which includes the closing of Al-Jazeera broadcasting and the suspension of its cozy relationship with the extremist government of Iran.

Since then, Qatar has resisted conciliation attempts, and has not shown any efforts in disassociating itself from the terrorist groups which the Arab quartet says are harbored and financially supported by Doha.
