KUWAIT CITY/WASHINGTON - 8 September 2017: The visiting Kuwaiti delegation held a meeting late Thursday ahead of the second strategic ties gathering to be co-chaired by US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson and Kuwait's First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sabah Al-Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.

Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled, who chaired the delegation's consultative gathering, stressed the importance of the upcoming US-Kuwaiti strategic ties meeting, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.

Both sides are eager to implement the visions promoted by Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and US President Donald Trump during their meeting in Washington, said Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled.

He further affirmed that the leaders of the two countries called for pursuing all possible venues of cooperation.
