S.Africa fully supports Egypt's candidate to UNESCO top post

PRETORIA – 7 September 2017: South Africa asserted its full support to the nomination of Moshira Khattab to be Egypt’s and Africa’s candidate for the post of UNESCO's director general.

This came during a meeting between former Egyptian foreign minister Mohamed el Orabi and South Africa's deputy foreign minister Luwellyn Landers at the premises of the Foreign Ministry in Pretoria.

Orabi’s visit to South Africa is the first leg of an African tour, Egyptian embassy in Pretoria said on Thursday.
