Death toll among Egyptian pilgrims rises to 35

MECCA - September 2017: The Health and Population Ministry said Saturday the death toll among the Egyptian pilgrims rose to 35.

In statements, head of the medical hajj mission Ahmed el Ansary said the death toll rose during Arafa Day and the first day of Eidul Adha due to stress and old age of some pilgrims, noting that their age varied between 60 to 85 years.

He said coordination is underway with bodies concerned to issue death certificates.
