CAIRO - 2 September 2017: An Arab-Japanese political dialogue will start in Cairo on September 11.

The Arab foreign ministers and their Japanese counterpart will meet in the presence of Arab League Secretary Ahmed Abul Gheit in a bid to reach a better understanding of regional and international issues of mutual concern, said AL Assistant Secretary General Hossam Zaki Saturday.

The AL counts on that dialogue to make clear Arab visions to Tokyo, Zaki noted.

It will also be a chance to listen to Japan's views regarding developments in East Asia and the Eastern Mediterranean regions, he added.
