BAGHDAD - 2 September 2017: Daesh mufti is reportedly killed in air strikes over Salahuddin governorate on Saturday, a local source said.

Air strikes targeted Daesh positions in eastern Salahuddin governorate, reportedly killing the terrorist group's mufti, the source, who declined to be identified, said.

Air raids targeting Daesh positions in the governorate have been on the rise over the past few days as the country is launching a campaign to drive out Daesh militants from all areas held during the chaos that followed toppling president Saddam Hussein.
