Daesh leader arrested, 3 explosive warehouses found in Diyala

BAGHDAD - 2 September 2017: A terrorist Daesh leader has been arrested and three explosive warehouses found in Iraq's northeastern governorate of Diyala, Degla Operation Command announced on Saturday.

A joint security unit managed to arrest the terrorist leader during a security operation in northeastern Baqubah, Commander of the Operation LT. Gen. Mizhar al Ezzawi was quoted by Alsumaria channel as saying.

Over the past few months, Iraqi security forces have arrested several Daesh terrorists during operations launched in different parts of the governorate.
