Pope Tawadros meets 2,500 Coptic youths in Australia

CAIRO- 2 September, 2017:The Coptic Orthodox Diocese of Sydney organized on Friday a meeting between Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of Saint Mark Diocese and about 2,500 Coptic youths in Sydney.

The meeting included a number of activities, like screening a documentary about Pope Tawadros.

This considered Pope Tawadros’ first visit to Australia.

During his Australia visit, Pope Tawadros also laid down the foundation stone for St. Mary, St. Cosman and St. Demian Coptic Orthodox Church in Kellyville of Sydney.
