Millions of Egyptians perform Eidul Adha prayers

CAIRO – 1 September 2017: Millions of Egyptians performed Eidul Adha prayers in public squares and mosques nationwide on Friday.

Mosque imams underlined in the prayer sermons the value of sacrifice for the homeland as part of values associated with the celebration of Eidul Adha.

They further highlighted the values of tolerance and clemency so that the nation could live in peace.

The Ministry of Awqaf allocated up to 5,000 spaces of land nationwide for performing the prayer of Eidul Adha.
