237 drug trafficking cases recorded over 24 hours

CAIRO - 31 August 2017: The Public Security Sector at the Interior Ministry continued its nationwide campaigns to arrest outlaws and holders of unlicensed weapons and to restore security.

The campaigns, which were launched upon the directives of Interior Minister Magdy Abdel Ghaffar, resulted in recording 237 drug trafficking cases over the past 24 hours.

It also resulted in nabbing 115 fugitives and four gangs.

The forces also seized 240 unlicensed motorcycles and returned five stolen cars.

All legal measures were taken and the prosecution has been notified to launch a probe.
