Antiquities Min. returns lost antiquities to Iraq, China

CAIRO – 28 August 2017: Minister of Antiquities Khalid Anani returned a group of lost relics seized earlier by the Egyptian security forces to Iraq and China on Sunday at the Egyptian Museum.

The relics belonged to Iraq included 44 ancient Iraqi coins and banknotes.

Meanwhile, relics belonging to China included 13 paper and monetary securities dated a century ago.
