SANA'A - 24 August 2017: The Houthi militias detained dozens of supporters of former Yemeni president Ali Abdullah Saleh while leaving al Sabeen Square after participating in a march where Saleh and leaders of the General Peoples' Congress Party took part also in Sana'a, said Yemeni local sources on Thursday.

Fierce clashes erupted between the Houthi militias and Saleh supporters, the sources was quoted by Sky News as saying.

The militias attacked also the reporters backing Saleh, seized cameras and cut off the broadcast of the channel affiliated to former Yemeni president in al Sabeen Square, the sources noted.
