Cairo - 21 August 2017: Ahmed Antar, the head of the Egyptian Commercial Service Office (ECS), stated that the ECS organised a visit to the delegation of Warsaw-based Cegielski, the largest Polish government group working in the fields of transport and railways.

The Polish delegation is scheduled to meet Minster of Transportation Hisham Arafat to discuss cooperation between Egypt and Poland, which will take into consideration the Polish suggestions regarding the mutual manufacturing of railway and metro carriages and trams by cooperating with government-owned SEMAF factory. This is in addition to training the staff of the transportation sector.

The Polish firm wishes to gradually manufacture the products of the railway system in Egypt until it manufactures all the country’s train carriages and trams. This will become a starting point for the company to manufacture and export its products to all Arab and African countries.
