Israel detains two Palestinian youths near Gaza Strip border

GAZA CITY - 20 Aug 2017: Two Palestinian youths have been detained by Israeli occupation forces near the border with the Gaza Strip, local sources said Sunday.

The pair, in their 20s, were passing in the area when the Israeli troops captured them.

They have yet to be identified. Their detention came amid a firing from the forces into farms in the Hamas-ruled enclave.

Such Israeli firing is usual once anyone approaches the border.
