BAGHDAD - 18 August 2017: A bomb went off near a local market in southern Baghdad, leaving three persons wounded, Iraqi Media News Agency reported Friday.

The bomb was planted on a roadside near the market and exploded early Friday, a security source said.

Police vehicles and ambulances rushed to the scene of the blast, while the wounded were taken to hospital so as to receive medical treatment
