DAMASCUS - 18 August 2017: At least 23 civilians were killed and others injured in intensified airstrikes by the US-led coalition and bombardment of Syrian Democratic Forces (SFD) on Raqqah city, said local Syrian sources on Friday.

The coalition air raids killed 23 civilians, including 13 children, Sky News quoted the sources as saying.

Over the past three days, activists and local sources reported the death of over 100 civilians by coalition strikes and bombardment of Kurdish militants.
