Dhahi Khalfan, Dubai's former police chief, said on Monday that Qatar is dealing with terrorists up to this moment – a statement that was confirmed by sources observing Doha's relations with terrorist groups in the region. Khalfan stressed that there is no doubt "the Qataris are facing a corrupt government.”

Qatar is at the center of Israeli intelligence operations in the region. “If we leave Doha with its practices, this will cause a disaster, especially as it uses sophisticated recruitment methods in its attempt to sabotage our region,” Khalfan stated in a series of tweets.

“Be brave, and decide either to be with us or not … do not be hesitant … Qatar misses today the brave leader,” he added.

On June 5, a number of Arab countries, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the UAE and Bahrain, cut all diplomatic ties and points of entry with Qatar over accusations of funding terrorist groups in the region.

The Arab quartet issued 13 demands to Doha, including closing Al Jazeera television channel.

In August, it was reported that Qatar started facing a financial crisis. Yahya al-Kedwany, deputy head of the parliament’s National Security and Defense Committee, said that Doha’s reduction in funding Al Araby Television Network and its withdrawal of Qatari residency from some Brotherhood leaders confirms that Doha is suffering from an economic crisis.

He added that the banned Brotherhood group will face internal crises in their international organization in Qatar.
