ADEN - 9 August 2017: The Yemeni army managed on Wednesday to liberate Madarat district in western Taiz after violent clashes with Houthi militants.

During the clashes, five Houthi militants were killed and a weapons store was destroyed, a military source said.

He also added that the ongoing military operation aims to purge all the western areas from the militants in coordination with the Arab coalition.
