CAIRO– 6 August 2017: The Cairo Criminal Court, under Judge Mohamed Fahmy, adjourned to September 10 the retrial of 22 Muslim Brotherhood (MB) leaders, including former President Mohamed Morsi and former MB supreme guide Mohamed Badie on charges of leaking classified documents on Egypt's national security and collaborating with armed organizations.

The court's decision came upon request from the defence lawyer to review the defendants' demands.

The court ordered that defendants Jihad Al Haddad and Khaled Sa'id Hasanein undergo a medical examination.

Defendant Khalil Aqeed will also undergo a forensic examination to determine whether he suffers from any injures
