9 Houthis killed in clashes in northern Taiz

ADEN - Yemen - 5 August 2017: Nine Houthi and pro-Saleh militants were killed while others were injured on Friday when Yemeni security forces repelled an attack that was launched by the militias in southern Taiz city, a security source of the 35th Armored Brigade said.

The militias used heavy and medium weapons in the attack in which a member of the national army was killed while another was injured.

Meanwhile, Arab coalition warplanes targeted gatherings and positions of the militias in various areas in western Taiz city.
