CAIRO - 4 August 2017: Egypt's Permanent Representative to the United Nations Ambassador Amr Aboul Atta sent a letter to the UN Security Council’s chief to be issued as a UN official document in response to Qatar's claims against Egypt.

Qatar sent a letter to the UNSC that includes falsehoods and lies concerning Egypt’s membership in the UNSC, he added.

The 15 member states, including Egypt, are committed to international agreements and UNSC resolutions that aim to confront all forms of terrorism, he said.

Egypt is obliged to uncover Qatar’s ideological and material support for terrorist groups that threaten not only the Middle East but also a number of world countries, he made it clear.
