Forty Six ships transit Suez Canal

ISMAILIA - 3 August 2017: Forty-six ships transited the Suez Canal on Thursday, with a total cargo of 2.5 million tons.

The south-bound convoy included 27 vessels carrying around 1.3 million tons, while the north-bound convoy included 19 ships laden with about 1.2 million tons, according to a statement issued by the Suez Canal Authority.
