Chadian defense minister, AOI chairman convene in Cairo

CAIRO – 2 August 2017: Abd El Aziz Seif-Eldeen, Chairman of the Arab Organization for Industrialization (AOI) will hold bilateral meetings with Chadian Defense Minister Bichara Issa Djadallah on Thursday to explore areas of mutual cooperation.

Seif Eldeen concludes on Wednesday an African tour, during which he held high profile talks with top African officials from Cameroon, Cote d'Ivoire and Nigeria.

The Chadian minister is expected to be shown around the military fair for commodities produced by the AOI.

In 1975, the Arab Organization for Industrialization was originally established by UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Egypt in order to form a unified Arab defense industrial complex. It became under Egypt’s sole ownership in 1993.
