UN envoy for Syria will visit Moscow Wednesday

MOSCOW - 1 August 2018: The Deputy Special Envoy of the United Nations for Syria, Ramzy Ezzeldin Ramzy, will visit Moscow on Wednesday.

Ramzy will discuss with Russian Foreign Ministry preparations for next Astana conference, Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov said during press statements.

After Astana conference, there will be a new round of negotiations in Geneva aiming to bring the viewpoints on the Syrian issue closer, Bogdanov added.
