Egypt condemns terrorist attack on Iraqi Embassy in Kabul

CAIRO – 1 August 2017: Egypt condemned the terrorist attacks that took place at the Iraqi Embassy in Kabul by the Islamic State, according to a Foreign Ministry statement issued on Monday.

Egypt affirmed its stance supporting the Iraqi government and people in confronting terrorism, stabilizing the state and rebuilding the state’s institutions, the statement added.

The Foreign Ministry Statement pointed out that the attack comes in the wake of successful victories achieved by the brothers in Iraq in facing the terrorist organization, and this desperate attempt will not weaken the brotherly Iraqi people in their quest to achieve security and stability.
