CAIRO - 21 July 2026: The Egyptian embassies and consulates abroad have begun a series of events and activities to commemorate the 74th anniversary of the July Revolution, in an atmosphere of national pride and deep-rooted patriotism.
Senior officials from the host countries, members of the diplomatic corps, and members of the Egyptian communities have participated in these events, expressing their appreciation for the national and historical significance of this revolution in the journey of modern Egypt.
Egypt celebrates Revolution Day on July 23, marking the historic 1952 revolution led by the Free Officers Movement, most notably Gamal Abdel Nasser and Muhammad Naguib, which resulted in the establishment of the modern Egyptian republic.
