President Sisi arrives in Tanzania for official visit

CAIRO – 18 July 2026: President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi arrived in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on Saturday, where he was accorded an official welcome upon his arrival.

Sisi landed at Julius Nyerere International Airport in the Tanzanian commercial capital and was received by Tanzanian Foreign Minister Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, Egypt's Ambassador to Tanzania Sherif Ismail, and members of the Egyptian Embassy.

The president's arrival marks the start of his official visit to Tanzania.
