CAIRO – 14 July 2026: The Egyptian Embassy in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, has provided consular support and assistance to 12 Egyptian citizens who fell victim to employment fraud.

Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, and Egyptians Abroad Badr Abdelatty directed the ministry's consular sector and the embassy in Tashkent to form a joint working group to immediately resolve the issue. These coordinated efforts successfully secured return travel tickets for all 12 citizens.
