CAIRO – 14 July 2026: Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has issued a decree declaring Thursday, July 23, 2026, an official paid public holiday to mark the anniversary of the July 23 Revolution.
The paid holiday applies to employees in ministries, government departments, public authorities, local government units, public sector companies, and public business sector companies.
However, any school or university examinations scheduled for that day will proceed as planned by the relevant authorities.
