Egypt condemns terrorist bombings in Damascus

CAIRO – 7 July 2026: Egypt strongly condemned the two bombings that occurred on Tuesday in Damascus, which resulted in a number of injuries.

Egypt affirmed its complete rejection of all forms of violence and terrorism and stressed the need to confront anything that could undermine the security and stability of the sisterly Syrian Arab Republic.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt expressed its sincere wishes for the speedy recovery of all those injured, reaffirming its solidarity with Syria in confronting all threats to its security and stability.
