CAIRO - 7 July 2026: President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi oversaw a comprehensive demonstration of specialized armored vehicles, electronic warfare systems, and counter-terrorism hardware Tuesday.
During the inauguration of the state's new Strategic Command headquarters in the Administrative Capital, which has been ongoing for several days, the operational display highlighted tactical assault and battlefield management assets.
That includes Ford Patriot armored breaching vehicles configured with dual hydraulic ramps and sniper platforms, alongside Mercedes Sprinter mobile command and explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) units.
Naval commando combat vessels designed for maritime counter-terrorism and coastal assault operations were showcased alongside lightweight reconnaissance platforms, including SandX and Polaris all-terrain vehicles (ATVs).
The military segment also featured Talon unmanned ground vehicles (UGVs), specialized bomb suits, EOD containment vessels, and armored MRAP ambulances configured for tactical medical evacuation under fire.
In a display of electronic warfare and communications security, the armed forces demonstrated Puma unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), JTAC airborne guidance networks, encrypted tactical communication shelters, and localized signal jamming arrays engineered to neutralize remote-detonated improvised explosive devices (IEDs).
The exhibition concluded with a joint special operations review featuring tactical units from the Ministry of Interior.
The police contingent debuted locally modified Sherpa, Panthera, Mamba, and Panther tactical vehicles, alongside dual-ramp hydraulic assault platforms, automated Cobra tracked units, and Dodge Ram platforms integrated with robotic canine scouts, illustrating total operational integration between the Armed Forces and civil police.
