Prime Minister Moustafa Madbouly Tuesday reaffirmed the government's commitment to closely follow up the implementation of Ras El Hekma development projects and the ongoing coordination and cooperation between the Egyptian and the UAE sides to ensure steady progress in line with the scheduled timetable.

The project is expected to support development and investment opportunities across Egypt's northwestern Mediterranean coast, ultimately contributing to the completion of the ambitious integrated development scheme, the premier said.

He made the remarks during a meeting with Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Department of Finance and Chairman of Modon Holding Jassem al Zaabi at the government headquarters in the New Capital, to review the latest developments in the implementation of the Ras El Hekma projects on the northwestern coast.

During the meeting, Zaabi reviewed progress achieved in the development works, noting that implementation is proceeding according to schedule.

He said the timeline would allow the first phase's hotel, commercial and entertainment facilities to begin operations as planned, providing a distinctive tourism experience by capitalizing on the area's exceptional natural assets and attracting more visitors.

Zaabi thanked Madbouly for his continued follow-up of the project's implementation, describing the development as a major step toward achieving a transformative economic and tourism boost for Egypt's northwestern coast.

The meeting concluded with an agreement to conduct a field visit to the Ras El Hekma development site in the coming period to review progress on the ground.
