Egypt expresses deepest condolences to Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana over flood victims

CAIRO – 6 July 2026: Egypt expressed its sincere condolences and sympathy to the governments and peoples of the Republic of Côte d'Ivoire and the Republic of Ghana over the victims of the floods that swept through both countries, resulting in multiple deaths and injuries.

In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Egypt affirmed its full support and solidarity with Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana during this difficult time. It also extended its deepest condolences to the families of the victims and wished a speedy recovery to all those injured.
