CAIRO – 1 July 2026: President Abdel-Fattah El-Sisi has received the credentials of 17 newly appointed ambassadors to Egypt, reaffirming Cairo's commitment to strengthening bilateral ties with their respective countries.

The new envoys represent Peru, Guatemala, Cambodia, Qatar, Mauritius, Ghana, Mali, Namibia, Indonesia, the Republic of the Congo, Korea, the Philippines, Malta, Mongolia, Portugal, Moldova, and Paraguay.

El-Sisi welcomed the ambassadors and expressed Egypt's pride in its bilateral relations with their countries, the Presidency said on Wednesday.

He stressed the state's keenness to advance bilateral cooperation across various fields.

The president wished the diplomats success in their diplomatic assignments and reaffirmed Egypt's commitment to providing them with all necessary support to help enhance productive cooperation between Egypt and their nations.
