CAIRO – 26 June 2026: The Egyptian Meteorological Authority (EMA) has forecast that Saturday, June 27, 2026, will see moderate temperatures and humidity in the early morning, becoming hot and humid during the day across northern Egypt, including Greater Cairo, and very hot across southern Egypt.

Temperatures will remain moderate and humid at night across most of the country, becoming warmer in Upper Egypt, EMA said in a statement on Friday.

The expected maximum temperatures in the shade (actual and perceived) are as follows:

·       Greater Cairo: 35°C, feels like 36°C

·       Northwest Coast: 30°C, feels like 32°C

·       Nile Delta: 38°C, feels like 39°C

·       Northeast Coast: 30°C, feels like 32°C

·       Southern Upper Egypt: 41°C, feels like 42°C

High humidity levels will raise the perceived temperature in the shade by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius above the actual temperature.

Dense fog is expected at times across areas stretching from northern Egypt to Greater Cairo, the Suez Canal cities, central Sinai, and northern Upper Egypt, reducing horizontal visibility on some roads.

There is also a slight chance of low clouds forming over scattered areas of the northern coast, the Nile Delta, Greater Cairo, and the Suez Canal cities, which could bring light, insignificant drizzle to some areas.
